Ot and Bilotte

Dusting off a very old miniature set. Aaah, the good ol' days! This belongs to the first television show that I created, right after graduating from art school. A weekly magazine for kids. The two leading characters Ot and Bilotte playfully present a variety of short films, some of which are made by art-students. Ot (Harry Piekema) went on to become a very famous character in a supermarket commercial (Albert Heijn).

 

 

The tune was the first piece of music that I created for television. It had to be a mix of marching music and ballet music because of Ot being a drummer in a marching band and Bilotte being a fine artist in a tutu.
